Pulito was a passion project created for 59 Days of Code, a local competition where participants have 59 days to create and pitch an app idea to a group of judges (think Shark Tank). Pulito’s goal was to reduce waste by helping users easily find nearby recycling centers and appropriate places to dump trash. Users could also view their statistics to further encourage them to recycle and dispose of any waste properly. Pulito ended up placing 2nd overall in the competition. I was responsible for all design, branding, and even website design. This included naming and branding the project, designing the logo, and creating all the marketing materials (banners, flyers, stickers, tshirts, presentation decks, etc.). I also had a hand in the front-end development as I was responsible for the UI/UX of the mobile application (another team actually built it out) as well as the design and build-out of the landing page.
